How can modern Kyiv attract tourists?

Ukraine is the one of the largest countries in Europe. Kyiv city is its capital. If you fly over Kyiv on a plane, the city resembles a heart through which the main artery, the Dnipro River, flows. It is, probably, symbolic: Kyiv is incredibly hospitable.

Planes from all over the world daily arrive in and depart from two international airports. It means 9 million tourists a year.
What attracts people in Kyiv? It is a pleasant climate, honest people, special rhythm of hills, and soft wisdom. It is centuries-long history, culture, atmosphere, and special style of life. A closer examination, however, shows that citizens of Kyiv are rarely in a hurry, they do not run, as in other capitals, even in peak hours. It might be another explanation of Kyiv popularity: you will not feel any fuss even in the very center of Kyiv downtown.
