‘My Peaceful Ukraine’ exhibition is being presented in Alain Delon’s mansion

exhibition ‘My Peaceful Ukraine’ opened in Alain Delon’s mansion, the building
where cultural and information center under the Ukrainian Embassy in France is
currently located. The exhibition lasts until the end of October.
The official
exhibition inauguration was attended by baron Philip San-Soule and Didier
Marouani, electronic music star and founder of Space band, Maria Laura de
Laquewiver, daughter of Senegal president, George Tanoque, French artist and
photographer, who also keeps a blog about Ukrainian events in French. Total
number of guests was more than 100 people including Ukrainian and foreign
diplomats, French Parliament and non-government organization representatives,
artists, musicians.
The drawing ‘My
Peaceful Ukraine’ have been already exhibited in Poland under the XXIV Economic
Forum in Krynica Zdroj. The next exhibition destination is Sweden.

Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia are heading towards EU
9 Ukrainian cities
(Lviv, Lutsk, Rivne, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Ternopil, Odesa, Vinnytsia,
Mykolaiv) signed the Declaration on territorial cooperation for 2014-2020 at
the third Congress of Initiative held in Lublin on October 2, 2014.
Chișinău (Moldova),
Brest (Belarus), Tbilisi (Georgia), Timişoara (Romania) and Lublin (Poland)
also aligned to declaration.
Cooperation of the
mentioned countries includes different fields, starting with civil society
development and culture to economy.

Ukrainians speak intermediate English
According to English
Proficiency Index ranking Ukraine takes 27th place in the world for the level
for the English proficiency level (country of intermediate level). Ukraine’s
earned 53 points.
The ranking leaders
are Sweden, Norway, the Netherlands, Estonia, Denmark, Austria, Finland,
Poland, Hungary, Slovenia. The countries with the lowest proficiency level are
Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Algeria.
The English
Proficiency Index embraces 60 countries.
Kharkiv doctors managed to grow liver inside of patient’s body
Specialists of
Kharkiv Emergency Aid Institute managed to grow liver in patients’ body using
its healthy part. After this they could remove the part affected by tumor. As a
result in 7-9 days the regeneration process takes part in a healthy part of the
liver, afterwards liver’s damaged area is removed and the patient doesn’t
require donor’s organ anymore.
To perform the
surgery Ukrainian surgeons applied the technology of their German colleagues.
This surgery was
performed in Ukraine for the first time.

Kyiv conductor’s orchestra recognized as the world’ favourite
Bournemouth Symphony
Orchestra conducted by a 37 y.o. Kyrylo Karabyts has been named as the World’s
Favourite Orchestra 2014. This is proved by the poll arranged by cultural
web-portal bachtrack.com.
Kyrylo Karabyts
graduated from the National Tchaikovsky Music Academy in Kyiv, studied in
Vienna and Stuttgart; used to work for Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France
and the Budapest Festival Orchestra.
He has been working
as the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra Principal Conductor since 2007 on
invitation of David Mellor, the president of Orchestra Boarding.
In September 2014 the
Ukrainian was appointed as Artistic Director of ‘I, CULTURE Orchestra’ (ICO).
