Drama ‘Anna of Kyiv’ to be released in 2019
Historical drama ‘Anna of Kyiv’, a co-production of Ukraine and France, will be released in 2019.
The film is based on the historical novel by French writer Jacqueline Dauxois ‘Anna of Kyiv, Queen of France’: after the marriage of King Henry and Anna golden age came to France. Anna of Kyiv inspires the king on the right and great deeds: victory over the enemy, increase of land holdings, peace and so on.
The shooting in Ukraine is scheduled for the summer-autumn 2018.

Shop with made in Ukraine products opens in Gorzów
In the Polish city of Gorzów (where several thousands of Ukrainians live and work) the first store with Ukrainian products opened.
Here you can buy halva, chocolate sweets ‘Evening Kyiv’, dumplings with meat, dried fish for beer, tomato paste that is one of the main ingridients for cooking real Ukrainian borsch.
Poles, Belarusians and Russians also like made in Ukraine products. The price of goods is also attractive. For instance, if the caviar in the Polish store in Warsaw costs about 29 euros per jar, the store in Gorzów costs 10 euros.

France, Canada and Switzerland invite to Franophone Day
June 11, Kostelna Street in Kyiv will host the third Francophone Day.
Francophone states such as Canada, France and Switzerland will present their culture and traditions.
The holiday will offer its guests: more than 100 participants of hand-made goods; street theater; 2 music scenes with performances of bands and dj in a non-stop format; culinary master classes; big photo zone; about 20 Ukrainian designers; children’s area with regular workshops; exhibition of famous artists, etc.
The event is supported by the Embassy of Canada, France and Switzerland and the French Institute in Ukraine and MFA of Ukraine.
The holiday will last from 10am to 11pm. Entrance is free.

A new flight connects the sky of Kyiv and Bologna
June 2, airline ‘Dart’ began regular flights Kyiv-Bologna (Italy) performed at International Airport ‘Kyiv’ (Zhuliany).
The flights will be operated on Airbus A320/319 on Tuesdays and Fridays. The departure time from Kyiv is 9:50 am, departure from Bologna is at 12:35pm.
