The hurdy-gurdy musical model raises record funds on Kickstarter
A 3D puzzle made by ‘UGears’ company specializing in interesting 3D pink puzzles production has raised $135,000 instead of 15,000.
The world’s first mechanical musical model of the hurdy-gurdy turned out to be a successful project at Kickstarter crowd founding platform. The model is a real musical instrument that one can easily play.
The hurdy-gurdy puzzle is the company’s fourth project raised on Kickstarter.

Portugal and Israel: Kyiv is launching new flights in July
In July the International Airport ‘Kyiv’ (Zhuliany) opens new flights. July 7, the Ukrainian company DART will start flying to Lisbon. The flight to the capital of Portugal will be performed on Fridays at 5:30 p.m., the airplanes will arrive in Kyiv on Saturdays at 4:20 a.m. The flight duration is about 4 hours and 30 minutes.
July 9, YanAir company will launch flights to Tel Aviv. The flight frequency is twice a week, on Wednesdays and Sundays. The plane departs from Kyiv at 5:00 a.m., from Tel Aviv – at 6 p.m. The flight duration is about 3 hours and 30 minutes.

Ukrainian photo wins the prize at the iPhone Photography Awards
Vlad Vasylkevych from Kyiv won the third prize at the International iPhone Photography Awards.
The photo in the ‘Portrait’ category is characterized by bright colors because Vlad captured it during the color run in Kyiv.

Ternopil is preparing for the World and European Championships in water and motor sport
August 26-27 Ternopil will host the World and European Championships in water and motor sports. Among the early-registered participants there are sportsmen from Austria, Hungary, Italy, Belarus and Poland.
Ukrainian athletes will perform in the class F250 and S550 and will be represented by the teams from Dnipro, Kyiv and Odesa.

Arena-transformer for 8,000 spectators to be built in Kyiv
In Kyiv ‘A SKY’ company will build a multifunctional sports arena covering an area of nearly 14 000 square meters.
The future sports complex will be able to host football, basketball, athletics and other sports competitions and championships, as well as musical concerts and exhibitions. Depending on the event the arena can accommodate from 4,500 to 8,000 spectators.
At the moment the project is in design stage; the construction is planned to start in 10 months.
