Kyiv enters TOP-25 cheapest European cities to rent an Airbnb
Airbnb, online service to search for private accommodation for a short-term rent, listed TOP-25 European cities with the cheapest apartments. Kyiv takes the eighth place (£27.50 per night) in this list. The ranking leaders are Tbilisi (£23.60), Belgrade (£25.90) and Istanbul (£25.90).
Airbnb ranking was judged by the average cost of a one night stay.

Wizz Air launches Kyiv-Bratislava flight
December, 17 Wizz Air low-cost airline is launching Kyiv-Bratislava flight. The flights will be operated twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The flight time is 50 minutes. Tickets are available at the airline web-site.

Embroidered dresses by Oksana Polonets to be shown in Austria
November, 17 the city of Hartberg, Austria, (Edelweiß – Halle, Steirmark) will become the venue for #zroblenovUkrayini the best collection project presentation.
Among the invited guests is Oksana Polonets, the designer who is well-known both in Ukraine and abroad. The visitors will see author’s embroidered dresses made in her design-studio.

Ukraine becomes CERN associate member
Ukraine became an associate member of the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN). The status allows the country paying much lower premiums than other 22 member-states but participating in all formats of scientific cooperation available to member countries.
Ukrainian scientists are given a chance to get experience by being engaged in advanced researches, to work at CERN, participate in career development programs, CERN educational projects and programs, to increase the effectiveness of scientific researches, and to improve scientific skills as well.
Ukrainian research institutions and enterprises can participate in CERN tenders and receive orders to produce high-tech equipment from October, 1.

Dnipro dancers are four-time world champions
Yehor Paliura and Sofia Dziuba from Dnipro became four-time world champions in two age categories. The dance competitions were held in Beijing where Ukrainians competed with 18 pairs from all over the world.
This spring Yehor and Sofia are going to the UK to represent Ukraine at the team championship.
