Odesa Shustov Cognac Museum got on European Wine Routes Map
Shustov Cognac Museum (Odesa) is included into the European Wine Routes Map issued by Association of Cultural and Tourism Exchange under the Council of Europe.
The map is going to help tourists to create their personal wine route or e-contact with tourist agencies in booking tours, admission tickets and hotels. The representatives of European tourism industry assure that collective promotion of European wine routes is very promising and will develop new tourist destinations in Europe.
Shustov Cognac Museum will meet new tourist season with new degustation tours and interesting projects. For example, exclusive service Maitre de Chai will allow you to try to create your own cognac. The museum shows the collection of exclusive cognac presents and all cognac brands.
For one-year work the museum has been visited by 12 000 guests including foreign tourists.

Unique hydrogel bandage developed by Ukrainian scientists
Scientists from Institute of Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in cooperation with experts of macromolecular compounds department of Taras Shevchenko University and PJSC SIC ‘Borshchahivskiy CPP’ pharmaceutical plant developed bandages on the basis of radiation crosslinked hydrogels.
Due to 90-95% of water the hydrogel can immediately cool the wound, prevent tissues fracture process (also when burnt) and clean a wound. A mix of components allows adding various medicines both in hydrogel and outside part of a bandage.
The bandages leak water, liquid medicines, painkillers, blood-stopping and antiseptic drugs and other liquids. They don’t stick to wounds making removing process painless. They are hermetically sealed and allow preventing traumatopneic wound as well.
Ternopil pupil crowned Little Mister World-2015
Arsen Maheha, 8th grade pupil from Ternopil oblast, won ‘Little Mister World-2015’ title at International Children Festival-Contest of Beauty, Fashion and Talent held on May, 6-16 in Bodrum, Turkey.
Arsen is a good student, studies English, fond of sports and ball dances, attends private model school. He dreams of being a film director.
Children aged of 3-18 from different countries participated in ‘LITTLE MISS WORLD & LITTLE MISTER WORLD-2015’ festival-contest.

Illichivsk municipal beach was given ‘Blue Flag’ certificate
Illichivsk municipal beach (Odesa Oblast) received its 5th International Eco-Lable for Beaches ‘Blue Flag’.
‘Blue Flag’ FEE is an award founded in 1987 by Foundation for Environmental Education.
The award is annually given to the beaches which meet 29 criteria of water and sand quality standards. By international jury verdict ‘Blue Flag’ can be awarded to beaches of Europe, Southern Africa, New Zealand, Canada, and Caribbean’s.
Illichivsk city beach is the only municipal beach in Ukraine awarded ‘Blue Flag’ certificate.
The city has been the member of ‘Blue Flag’ beach certification ecological movement (uniting 40 countries) since 2009.

II International Festival ‘Frederic Chopin in Open Air’ is held in Radomysl Castle
June 13-14, 2015 II International Festival ‘Frederic Chopin in Open Air’ takes place on the territory of a historical and cultural complex Radomysl Castle, Zhytomyr Oblast.
During two days soloists of National Philharmonic of Ukraine and foreign musicians will perform works of the great composer.
The festival guests will also enjoy tour by a unique Museum of Ukrainian Home Icon and workshops on paper productions by authentic technologies of XVII century (the castle is located on the place of the first Central Ukrainian Paper Factory).
Boat rides and crossbow shooting will be also available for festival guests.
The festival is supported by Embassy of Republic of Poland in Ukraine, Polish Institute in Kyiv.
