Sergey Polunin to present a film about himself (trailer)
Oct. 26, the film ‘Dancer’, a life story of the well-known ballet dancer Sergey Polunin, will be released in Ukraine.
The biographical film about the dancer’s childhood in Kherson, study in Kyiv, a fast-paced career at the Royal Ballet in London and work in the world’s best theaters was released last year. Thus, a native of Kherson will come to Kyiv to present the film personally.
The author of the film is an American director Steven Cantor.

Ukrainians in Italy: Andrii Zlotka opens a pizzeria in Rome
Andrii Zlotka from Volyn Oblast moved to Italy being a schoolboy.
The young man started working for Laura Pernot, the world’s pizza champion and owner of one of the oldest pizzerias in the historic center of Rome, ‘Seeing that, along with cleaning up the tables, I can cook and want to study, Lauro gave me more tasks to do and added some money to my salary’. The first salary was spent on a mobile phone, later on Andrii bought a car.
10 years ago Andrii opened his own pizzeria in the center of Rome. The Ukrainian treats his guests with pizza, pasta, gnocchi, lasagna, ravioli and even Ukrainian cutlets.
In 2010 it was Andrii Zlotka who won the Pizza Championship in the nomination ‘Rizza Alla Pala’. The pizza was named ‘Andrea’, in honor of Andrii.

Aida Nikolaychuk wins karaoke competition in Japan sensationally (video)
Aida Nikolaychuk, the winner of Ukrainian show ‘X-Factor’, took part in the karaoke contest ‘Mozart-show’ broadcast on Japanese TV-channel ‘Asahi’.
In the battle for the victory the Ukrainian singer sensationally got a victory over Saya Asakura, a famous Japanese singer. Both singers performed the same song in Japanese.
The performance of the singers were not judged by the jury but by the karaoke machine, an invention that compares the accuracy words and fixes the purity of sound, the volume of voice, the necessary timbres, melisma, subtons, vibrations etc.

Made in Ukraine drinking honey among the tastiest in the world
Volodymyr Dmytruk from Lutsk awarded a bronze medal at the International Apiculture Congress ‘Apimondia 2017’ held in Istanbul.
At the international drinking honey competition held under ‘Apimondia’ a drink ‘The Tear of Amber’ made by Volodymyr took the third place.

30 Ukrainian companies present their products at the Cologne exhibition
More than 30 Ukrainian companies took part in the 3rd German-Ukrainian Food Forum under ‘Anuga 2017’, one of the largest international exhibitions on food and gastronomy held in Cologne.
As Olha Trofimtseva, Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine on European Integration, says currently the export of Ukrainians products to Germany, in particular, grain crops, sunflower oil, confectionery, juices, etc. has increased, ‘We have 288 Ukrainian agricultural companies who can export their products to the EU, 108 of them are food producers’.
In 2016 the export of Ukrainian agrarian and food products to Germany was estimated to $244.7 million. The key products were sunflower oil, cereals, sugar confectionery, chocolate, yeast-free pastry products, etc.
