Welcome to ‘Ukrainian wedding’ exposition
Oct. 13, the exhibition ‘Ukrainian wedding’ opened at the National Sanctuary Complex ‘Sophia of Kyiv'(Zaborovsky Gate). The project is aimed at showing the richness and color of the traditional Ukrainian wedding.
The visitors will see house decorations, meals, bride’s clothes, a series of pictures painted from black and white wedding photographs of the past centuries and many other interesting exhibitors.
In addition to individual thematic zones, the exhibition will feature unique wedding wreaths and clothing, as well as a collection of natural stone necklaces.
The exposition runs until Nov. 30

Consulate of Ukraine opens in Mozambique
The Honorary Consulate of Ukraine officially opened in the capital of the Republic of Mozambique, the city of Poputa.
The opening ceremony was attended by the newly appointed Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Maputo Abiliu Soeiru, Ukraine’s Charge d’Affaires in South Africa Lubov Abravitova, Consul of Ukraine in South Africa Oleksandr Yurkin, Deputy Head of the Department of America and Europe at MFA of Mozambique, representatives of Foreign Ministry, business and Ukrainian Diaspora in Mozambique.
Honorary Consul of Ukraine to Maputo Abiliu Soeiru thanked Ukraine for the honor and promised to do the best for fruitful cooperation between the two countries.

Self-service check-in kiosks are installed at ‘Kyiv’ airport
At the Kyiv International airport (Zhulyany) passengers flying with LOT Polish Airlines and Buta Airways can use automatic self-service check-in kiosks.
It takes no more than one and a half minutes to pass the check-in procedure.
The kiosk also allows you to ticket a boarding pass. The only thing you need to have is a passport.

The walnut center starts working in Cherkasy Oblast
The walnut center in the village of Verhuny, Cherkasy Oblast, started working.
The plant plans to grow seedlings of French, Moldovan and Ukrainian breeding. This year 125,000 walnut seedlings were inoculated; it is planned to plant 200,000 trees per year.
The amount of investments is Hr 10 million.

Kyiv to host the 2018 World Boxing Council Convention
In 2018 Kyiv will host the 56th Convention of the World Boxing Council (WBC).
The WBC Convention is an important and prestigious event in the life of the world’s most influential boxing organization. The forum annually brings together delegates from all member-countries and key boxers from all over the world.
Within several days the Convention participants discuss topical issues, outline plans, negotiate future fights, and current champions often find out their rivals, candidates for the championship title.
