The first Ukrainian girl to compete for Miss Top of the World Plus Size title
A 28-years-old Victoria Shchelko will at first introduce Ukraine at the International beauty contest Miss Top of the World Plus Size 2017.
The girl has graduated from five higher education institutions and serves as a police lieutenant in Kyiv law enforcement agencies.
The international beauty contest Miss Top of the World Plus Size 2017 will be held in Singapore on Nov. 8-13. The contestants will defile in swimsuits, sing and demonstrate their knowledge and skills in intellectual competitions.

Kyiv-Toronto flight to launch in 2018
In the summer of 2018 it is planned to launch a direct flight between Kyiv and Toronto, the largest city of Canada.
The flights will be operated by the company ‘International Airlines of Ukraine’.
The new regular flight is expected to give additional opportunities for business development, especially in the context the Free Trade Agreement between Ukraine and Canada entered into force on August 1.

Ukrainian young people win gold medals at Brazilian Science and Technology Fair
At the International Student Olympiad on Ecology, held within the framework of the 32nd MOSTRATEC International Science and Technology Fair in Brazil, two Ukrainians won gold medals.
Kateryna Malkina from Mariupol Technical Lyceum has won gold for the project New Method for Biogenic Utilization of High Density Polyethylene (HDPE)’, devoted to the possibility of a particular species of larvae to digest polyethylene.
The second gold went to Yuri Pasha from the National Medical University named after O.Bohomolets. The project ‘New eco-friendly method of improving the vitality of plants of the family Poaceae (Cereals)’ conquered the jury. In addition to the medal, Yuri also received the Grand Prix Olympiad. His development will allow to improve the cereals crop.
In total the Olympiad engaged 420 students’ projects from different countries of the world.

Vitaliy Klitschko enters TOP-10 heavyweight champions of all time by WBC
Vitaliy Klitschko entered TOP-10 World Heavyweight Champions of all times by World Boxing Council (WBC).
The list was ranked after analysing achievements of WBC 23 Heavyweight World Champions.
According to the statistics the Ukrainian ranked the 8th. Such boxers as Mohammed Ali, Lennox Lewis, Evander Golifield, Larry Holmes, Mike Tyson, George Foreman and Joe Fraser gained the first seven positions.
Vitaliy Klitschko has won the WBC title twice and become one of five heavyweight boxers who has regained the title (it is worth reminding that the
Ukrainian boxer lost the champion title because of injury rather in the fight).

Ukrainian Museum opens outside of Philadelphia
Within Manor College in Jenkintown, just outside of Philadelphia, the Ukrainian Museum opens.
The museum exhibits an incredible collection of traditional Ukrainian embroidery, costumes, decorations, wood carvings, pottery etc.
