A boy from Kirovohrad Oblast becomes the third genius at US Genius Olympiad
Samuil Kruhliak from Oleksandria city (Kirovohrad oblast) won bronze medal at Genius Olympiad held in Oswego, NY, USA. The Ukrainian was rewarded for his project Atmospheric Electricity Generation (generating energy by artificial ionized cloud wit hthe help of strong electric field radiated by ionized tower).
Svitlana Piskova, research advisor on scientific-technical creativity and innovations and eco safety technologies at Minor Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, is sure that if Samuil’s device is launched Kirovohrad Oblast will be supplied with cheap energy for 82%.
Besides diploma Samuil received a chance to study at US university for free and $700 scholarship.

Ukraine gets two awards at Art Vilnus
Ukraine won two of five nominations at International Contemporary Art Fair ‘Art Vilnus’, Lithuania. The projects-winners are Sybiria by Nikita Shalennyi (The Best Installation) and Kyiv Contemproray Art Gallery TSEKH (The Best Foreign Gallery).
In total seven Ukrainian galleries were presented in Vilnus: Art14 (Kyiv), Bottega Gallery (Kyiv), YA gallery (Kyiv), Karas gallery (Kyiv), RA gallery (Kyiv), TSEKH (Kyiv) and ArtSvit (Dnipropetrovsk).
Besides Ukraine artists from Denmark, UK, Georgia, Italia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, the Netherlands, France and Romania participated in the fair.

Kherson karateka wins American championship
Oleksandr Yeremenko secures the second victory in USA Kyokushin Championship held in New York.
This is the third competition for Oleksandr. He debuted in 2013 and took 7th place. One year later, in 2014, he gained his first victory at US Championship.

British TheatreHD Festival is coming to Ukraine
British Council Ukraine in cooperation with art-association CoolConnections presents summer season festival of British TheatreHD, which runs from,7 July to September,30 in Kyiv, Odesa and Kharkiv.
The festival will show the best theatrical productions of English theaters on one big screen. Legendary theatrical teams, the best plays, the best directors – all these can be seen in three Ukrainian cities.
The audience will see 9 plays in English with Ukrainian subtitles such as “Audience”, “Everyman” from the Royal National theatre, the story of Salem witches persecution “Crucible”, “Twelfth night,” “The Comedy of Errors”, “Antony and Cleopatra”, “The Merchant of Venice” and the best plays of the past seasons, “Man and Superman” and “Of mice and men”, in particular.

The longest Galician food table to be set in Ternopil
July, 10-12 IV ethnic and gastronomic festival ‘Galician Defilada’ is held in Shevchenko park, Ternopil.
