Kyiv’s mural among the best in the world
Kyiv’s mural entered TOP-7 best murals of November 2017 on Streetart.Today agency. The work named ‘Rise Up in the Dirt’ ranked the seventh.
The mural’s author is BKFoxx, an artist from New York. It took the girl 25 days and 700 paint sprayers to make the painting.
The mural has become Ukraine’s first painting decorating the police building.
The above-mentioned ranking also includes paintings from France, Australia, Argentina and Colombia.

Ukrainian booth at 2017 Budapest Diplomatic Fair
Ukraine was represented at the annual Diplomatic Fair 2017 held in Budapest.
As Facebook-page of the Embassy of Ukraine in Hungary informs the booth contains information materials about Ukraine, paintings of children and professional artists, Ukrainian souvenirs, confectionery, horilka (alcohol drink), embroidered towels, etc.
Overall, 46 diplomatic missions accredited in Hungary participated in the event.

Ukrainian start-up got over 8,000 pre-orders in the USA
PassivDom Startup (Autonomous Off-the-grid 3D-printed Smart House) by Maksym Herbut received over 8,000 pre-orders in the USA.
PassivDom is the only integral design printed on a 3D printer without seams and gluing. The house can be placed on any surface, it can be easly moved or relocated.
The house with a wall thickness of 20 cm can store the same amount of heat as a brick one having 7-meter walls. Therefore, the electricity generated by roof solar panels will be enough for heating or cooling an autonomous building.
Next year the house production will be launched the city of Rino, Nevada State.

Kyiv to host the 2018 Junior World’s Water Diving Championships
Next year Kyiv will host the Junior World’s Water Diving Championships.
The competition will be held on July 23-29 on the arena of the Kyiv Palace of Water Sports ‘Liko’, the venue that has hosted this year’s European
Water Diving Championship at a high level.
This championship will be the qualifying tournament for the 3rd 2018 Youth Olympic Games to be held in October 2018 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

More than 20 American cities to see documentary about Vasyl Slipak
In more than 20 cities of the United States a documentary ‘Myth’ dedicated to the memory of a Vasyl Slipak, the world star and the Paris Opera soloist, killed by a sniper in Donbas, will be shown.
Thus, the Facebook-page of the promotional tour informs that the film will be shown at St.Joseph Church in Chicago (5000 N Cumberland Ave, Chicago, IL) on Dec. 23 (7 p.m.).
The film is screened in Ukrainian with English subtitles.
