Lenzburg
October 10, the first
Ukrainian culture and traditions festival is held in Lenzburg (Switzerland).
The festival program
includes: fair (both modern and authentic clothes and accessories), folk songs,
games, dances and entertainments, martial arts workshops, Ukrainian
discotheque.

Gemeindesaal, Lenzburg 5600. Start – 12:00.
Organizers are
charity Swiss organization ’24h-Help’ and ‘Swiss Kozak’ company.

Sofiia Suldina bested at Swiss music competition
Sofiia Suldina won
the Concours Nicati, the most prestigious competition on performing
contemporary music in Switzerland.
Ukrainian musician
was granted CHF 16,000 as prize money.
The Concours Nicati
competition is held every two years. It is open to instrumentalists, singers,
soloists and ensembles (up to 6 players). The age limit is under 35 years
old. The contest can be participated by
citizens or residents of Switzerland.

A new no-gas heating device from Ukrainian scientists
Developers of
‘Quantum Electric’ company presented a new electric heating panel which can
save you money and cure you at the same time.
At first the device
had been developed to prevent upper airway diseases, however, a new way of
heating energy generating was discovered. It based on using to full the
advantage of heat flow of infrared radiation within the human favorable range.
The device itself and all completing parts are made in Ukraine.
The panel consumes 23
times less electric energy than classical spiral heaters, and holds heat long
after it is turned off.
The device uniqueness
is that it has no heaters or cables inside. Moreover, the panel has no magnetic
radiation, it works within the range of human body magnetic radiation, thus it doesn’t
dry but heat water molecules in air providing optimum moister content.
The panel efficiency
is approved by technical university of Kosice (Slovakia) where the device has
been tested. In 2016 EU plans to allocate EURO 2 million for improvement and arrangements.
The Germans and the Chinese are interested in this device but our scientists
want to produce and sell it in Ukraine first.

Films by Kherson director to be shown in France and Italy
Films by Oleksandr
Yudin from Kherson are included into the program of festivals ‘Le plein de
Super’ (France) and ‘Reggio Film Festival (Italy).
‘ON THE PEA’ film
will be presented to Italian audience at the festival on October, 21-26.
The French audience
will get a chance to see short movie ‘3 ТHREE’. The
festival will not give any awards, but the best prize for Ukrainian director is
that the movie will be released to wide audience because the main mission of
‘Le plein de Super’ is to present the movie to as many people as possible.
