received the first for Ukraine MTV Video Music Awards, annual award for the
best music video.

Skrillex and Diplo ‘Where are you now’ music video awarded for the best visual
effects.
GloriaFX company was
founded 7 years ago in Dnipropetrovsk, in 2014 the company opened its office in
Los Angeles.
The company has
already produced about 400 music videos for Hollywood celebrities: Lady Gaga,
Kanye West, Britney Spears, Imagine Dragons, Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj, Snoop
dog etc. The company works with the best world’s directors Nabil, Hanna Lux
Davis, Hiro Murai, Frank Borin, Eif Rivera, Emil Nava etc.

Odesa startup was bought at record $150 million
Video messaging
application Snapchat bought Looksery startup created in Odesa.
Looksery is a mobile
application which allows online editing your look during videochat (eye color,
head shape).
Since the application
was launched iOS Looksery version was downloaded 3 million times. First of all
Looksery called attention of call center operators, cosmetics companies and
movie industry (the company rapidly returned to profit generating $ 1 million
monthly).
The success of
Ukrainian ID developers was mentioned in the folowing leading mass media
TechCrunch, Forbes, VentureBeat, CNN.

A new bridge to connect Ukraine and Moldova
EU plans to finance a
ramp to connect Ukraine (Bila Tserkva village, Rakhiv region) and Romania
(Sihet).
The approximate
bridge cost is more than EURO 10 million. Ukraine will have to provide
infrastructure and access road.
This way it is
planned to improve economic, family and cultural relationship between two
countries and reduce traffic at active entry port Dyakove-Halmeu.
The construction plan
for the ramp is ready. It will be 240 meters long and the bridge fooring will
be on the river bank not in the Tisa water area.
However, it is still
not clear when the construction works start as first governments of two
countries must sign a certain agreement.

Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar Center to open in Vinnytsia
Vinnytsia city
authorities provided a building for Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar Center.
According to Taisia
Haida, a representative of non-profit organization Vetan, the accommodation is
130 sq.m. At the moment the building is abandoned with no heating. However,
under the auspices of Crimea Tatar non-profit organizations, businessmen and foreign
investors the repair to be finished by the end of the year (total remodeling
cost is $ 30,000).
As for interior one
wall is supposed to be decorated by Crimean Tatar ornaments and Petrykivka.
The future center
will host movie shows, art events, meetings, discussions, language courses,
Tatar food tasting and workshops.

Kharkiv to host European Cycling Forum
European Cycling
Forum-2016 will take place in Kharkiv on September 16-22 under the European
Mobility Week.
The forum mission is
to promote cycling and healthy lifestyle.
Thus Kharkiv will
join European Mobility Week for the first time. The forum will promote the idea
of the city free from vehicles megapolisis, Kharkiv locals will be called to
change their cars for public buses or bicycles, or get to work walking.
