Mobile app to support Ukrainian army Wake App in Peace wins in Europe
Wake App in Peace mobile app won the gold award of the Art Directors Club of Europe competition. The project was recognized the best in ‘Integration and Innovation’ category.
The application works in the following way: every time when an alarm rings in the morning and the person does not wake up he pushes the button and a few hryvnias from his account (the user determines by himself) is transferred in favour of the Ukrainian army.
The app can be free downloaded in Google Play Market and the App Store.

Ukrainian students win four medals at the Beijing Olympiad
Ukrainian students won two silver and two bronze medals at the International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics held in Beijing.
The medals were awarded to representatives of Kharkiv Physics and Mathematics Lyceum №27, Lviv Physical-Mathematical Lyceum of Ivan Franko Lviv National University and Kyiv Lyceum No.142.
The International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics is held annually. The prizewinners of the Olympiad are chosen in an individual championship and awarded with gold, silver and bronze medals, as well as awards in individual nominations.

Wizz Air to open flights from Ukraine to London, Vienna and Frankfurt
During November-December 2018, Wizz Air will open three new flights from Ukraine.
The schedule is the following:
- Nov. 13 – Kharkiv-London Luton (flights were opened);
- Nov. 25 – Kharkiv-Vienna;
- Dec. 14 – Lviv-Frankfurt-Khan.
The ticket price starts from 19.99 euros (one free hand luggage unit with dimensions 40x30x20 cm included).
At present time Wizz Air low-cost carrier offers flights by 41 routes from Ukraine (Kyiv, Lviv and Kharkiv) to 12 countries. In March 2019 the airline will open four more flights: from Kyiv to Bremen, Billund and Riga, from Lviv to Copenhagen.

Medical centers in Lviv Oblast get equipment for early cancer detection
Six interregional screening centers in Lviv Oblast (Drohobych, Sambir, Stryi, Chervonohrad and two ones in Lviv) were granted modern equipment for the early cancer detection.
The gynecologic examination, colposcopy, ultrasound examination of the mammary glands (for women from 18 to 45 years of age), breast mammary (+45 years) are available to patients. This list of preventive examinations is recommended for all women and aimed at early detection of breast and cervical cancer. All up-to-date equipment tests are free.

Ukrainian designers to show their collection at the Warsaw fair
Nov. 23, Ukrainian designers will take part in the fashion show ‘Podium tour around Ukraine’ held at the Ptak Warsaw Expo exhibition center (Warsaw).
The show is organized within the framework of the international textile industry fair.
At the end of the fair, Nov. 25, the Ukrainian-Polish business forum ‘Opportunities for partnership and mutually beneficial cooperation in light industry’ will be held.
