Festive program ‘Winter Fairy Tale’ at Spivoche Pole starts on December, 25 and lasts until January, 24.
December 25-27 – a celebration of Catholic Christmas and a festival of Hot Drinks: grog, punch and gluehwein tasting.
December 30 – January 3 – New Year celebration. The mysterious festival of Fortunetelling, Horoscopes and Prophecy.
January 7-10 – Christmas celebration and Christmas food and fun festival.

Model from Dnipropetrovsk to advertise American company
21-years-old Daria Sheiko from Dnipropetrovsk represented Ukraine at 44th International contest ‘Miss Intercontinental’ held in Maritim Congress Hotel (Magdeburg, Germany) on December 18.
Though Daria didn’t take any prize she benefited from the contest indeed, American company ‘Emmi dent’ offered her to become a face of its advertising campaign. So Daria’s model career is just beginning.
Daria Sheiko studies customs and finances, works as a model, goes in for sports, dreams to get Master’s degree in a Polish university.

Cellular technology saves extremities from amputations
Kyiv medical center ilaya applies cellular technologies to cure bones of extremities of 10 patients. The treatment is performed under ‘Biotech-rehabilitation of injured people’ project.
The technology is often the only way to overcome the heavy injuries of the limb bones (shoulder, forearm, thigh, shin and foot) caused by mechanical and ballistic wounds. The doctors have succeeded to help to recover the patients who actually missed more than 10 cm of bones within several months, and to restore the functions of the extremities that failed to anchylose for more than 20 years.
For now this technique is the unique in the post-Soviet countries, in well-developed countries it is used by the most modern medical centers.

Grand master from Vinnytsia wins tournament in France
34-years-old Serhiy Fedorchuk from Vinnytsia won XII International Chess Tournament in Vendeuvre, France. Ukrainian secured 7.5 points from possible 9 ones.
100 chess players from 20 countries participated in the tournament.
Serhiy Fedorchuk is a winner of Junior Championship of Europe in 1995 (France); triumphed at ‘Dubai Open’ in 2006. Since 2014 he has already won international tournaments in Latvia, Spain and France.
Serhiy Fedorchuk ranked 125th in the latest world’s grand masters’ ranking, and takes the 9th place in the ranking of Ukrainian chess players.

‘House on the Edge of the Planet’ gets the main prize in Los Angeles
A short movie ”House On The Edge Of The Planet’ (Short Movie category) took the first prize at Los Angeles CineFest 2015 film festival.
The movie is a co-production of VGNC, Limelite, students of Kyiv Academy of Media Arts Digital Filmmaking and the art director Volodymyr Chemerys.
This is not the first award for the film, it has already received some prizes at Barcelona Planet Film Festival and GoldenSun Short Film.
