Hrechykha promotes Ukrainian cuisine among Norwegians
In August 2015, Anna Hrechykha opened ‘Varenik’, the
first Ukrainian restaurant in Norway. It is located in the center of Sandnes,
south-west coast of Norway. Six months passed, the restaurant has become a must
to visit place for many locals and foreigners.
Eight years ago Anna and her husband moved from
Zaporizhzhia to Norway. Anna and her husband are engineers by profession but
love cooking.

‘The
Order of Australia’ goes to Ukrainian patron
For contributing into the Ukrainian community
development in Australia Viktor Rudevych, founder and head of Ukrainian credit
union ‘Dniester’ and the Centre for the old people support ‘Kalyna’, received
‘The Order of Australia’.
For recent decades, Viktor Rudevych and his wife Mary
have donated a lot of to the development of Ukrainian community in Australia.
They established a fund to support Ukrainian Studies at Monash University in
Melbourne.
Besides Viktor Rudevych, 600 people were also awarded.

Czech
airlines to connect Odesa and Prague again
April 27, Czech Airlines company resumes direct
flights Odesa-Prague.
The flights will operate three times a week. Roundtrip
tickets cost Hr.4,800 (all fees in the price).
Odesa-Prague flights are planned on Tuesdays and
Thursdays (at 5 a.m.) and Sundays (at 7:30 a.m.), Prague-Odesa are performed on
Mondays and Wednesdays (at 10:25 p.m) and Saturdays (at 7:45 p.m).
The flight time is about two hours.
As for now Czech Airlines operates flights Kyiv-Prague
(via Kosice).

Yulia Pascal (Paskal brand) will show her collection
at Paris Fashion Week to be held on March,1-9.
Her autumn-winter 2016/2017 collection will be
presented at 11a.m. on March,9, right after Louis Vuitton show.
The designer launched his own brand in 2010. Her fashion
successful career involves eight MBKFD seasons, show-rooms in Paris, London and
Florence, sales in Louisa Via Roma and Colette, and LVMH Prize prestigious
fashion competition nomination as well.

athlete wins Open Continental Judo Cup
Sofia (Bulgaria) hosted the Open Continental Judo Cup
where an athlete from Sumy Dmytro Berezhnyi won a gold medal.
In the final (weight category under 90 kg) Dmytro
defeated Ihor Zhukov, an athlete from Belarus.
Last year Dmytro ranked third in the Open Continental
Cup in Bulgaria. In 2013 he became a silver medalist of the tournament held in
Minsk, and won a bronze medal at 2010 Cairo World Cup
