Ukraine
presents show sculpture ‘Love wins’ at American festival
‘Love wins’ is a snow sculpture presented by Ukraine
at the International Ice Sculpture Festival held in the town of Breckenridge in
Colorado (USA).
The authors of the sculptures are Bogdan Kutsevych,
Oleksiy Poda, Joe Gagnepain, Gregory Brown.
‘Our sculpture depicts a fist that is being stopped by
an open palm. The fist symbolizes the brute force, violence and war. The palm
is a metaphore of peace and love. We believe in Power of love and suppose that
any war, especially current military conflict in Ukraine, can be stopped by
negotiations and compromises instead of weapons. We hope that peace will come
back to Ukraine very soon and love will win’, the sculpture describes.
