Ukrainian cuisine entered TOP-20 countries with the tastiest
food. The list was made by Yonderbound, the world’s largest travel community.

The respondents (users and authors) advise to try
borshch, salo, varenyky, vodka, zrazy, Cranberry juice.

The food of Italy, France, Japan, Australia, China,
Greece, India, Korea, Mexico, Montenegro, Pakistan, Philippines, Portugal,
Switzerland, Thailand, the USA, Spain, China and Sweden are also in the list.

‘Culture
of the Confrontation’ project among Exposure Awards 2015 winners

‘Culture of the Confrontation’ project featuring
winter events at the Independence Square in 2013-2014 years (author Maxim
Dondyuk) got the third place in ‘Series’ category of Exposure Awards 2015
International Photo Contest organized by ‘LensCulture’ magazine.

The first place went to David Shannon-Lier from United
States (‘Of Heaven and Earth’ project), Sebastian Palmer from Great Britain
(‘Hope’ project) ranked the second.

In total photographers from 120 countries sent their
works for the contest.

Homonai to promote modern Ukrainian artists among Canadians

Hanna Homonai gave her first interview in the role of
the wife of the Ambassador of Ukraine to Canada Andriy Shevchenko.

A famous Ukrainian journalist and TV presenter shared
her opinion about Canada, Ukrainian diaspora, and outlined her top-priority
tasks and plans.

‘We have never imagined that Ukrainian diaspora of
Canada is so powerful. We had always heard that many Ukrainians living Canada
are very good people and support Ukraine a lot. However, when you get here and
look at the eyes of these people you will feel their strength. They are very
intelligent people with good positions and powerful connections, both political
and economical. It is very powerful and important Ukrainian community’, Hanna
comments.

Ivano-Frankivsk
toys debut at Nuremberg fair

‘Intelcom’ company from Ivano-Frankivsk debuted at the
68th International Fair Spielwarenmesse 2016 (Nuremberg), the biggest toys
fair. The company presented its products under TM ‘TechnoK’.

‘Interlcom’ toys are in a big demand both in Ukraine
and abroad – Russia, Belarus, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Hungary. The
originality of Ukrainian toys caught attention of the visitors from South
America and Asia.

This year more than 2,800 companies from 60 countries
participated at the Spielwarenmesse fair. The number of visitors reached 70 000
persons from 120 countries within 6 days.

Ukrainian
film ‘Tank’ awarded at Berlinale

Ukrainian film project ‘Tank’ by Maksym Ksenda
received VFF Talent Highlight Pitch Award and €10,000 at the 66th Berlin
International Film Festival.

‘Tank’ (dramatic thriller) tells about a neglected
12-years-old boy from a problem family aka Malyi who finds the Second World War
tank in a dried swamp in a forest. The boy decided to sell it for $1,000,000
and escape from his depressed town.

The film is produced by Noosphere Films. Producer is
Max Serdiuk.

Last July ‘Tank’ won the contest of full-length
projects at the pitching stage of the 6th International Film Festival in Odesa
and bested at the pitching stage at the film festival in Cottbus, Germany, in
November.
