Julia Melnyk wins Hollywood makeup artists contest
Julia Melnyk, a Ukrainian makeup artist, won ‘The Next Level of Cosplay Scholarship Competition’, the prestigious international contest of makeup artists, organized by the Hollywood Cinema Makeup School.
The organisers were inspired by the image of White Walker, ‘Game of Thrones’ film. As the makeup artist says she created the image of ‘creative resourses and second-hand items’.
First time in the contest’s history, the makeup artist wins both by fan voting and judges’ opinion.
Julia will be given a $15,000 grant to study at the Hollywood Cinema Makeup School.

Made in Ukraine – hemostatic medicine ‘Krovospas’
‘Ukrainian Medical Center of Certification’ enterprise, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, has certified a hemostatic medicine ‘Krovospas’.
The medicine was developed by the research center ‘Borei’, a volunteering group created by the scientists of the Physical Chemistry Institute of National Academy of Science of Ukraine last year.
‘Krovospas’ is a Ukrainian analogue of CELOX (UK) and QuikClot Combat Gauze (USA) that has the same hemostatic properties but costs much cheaper.
The certificate of compliance was issued to bandage, tampons and drapes containing this medicine.
Being certified, ‘Krovospas’ can be commercialized.

Anastasia Vorobei from Lutsk won second place at the International Competition of Ecological Projects INESPO – 2016, its final took place from May,29 to June, 3 in the Netherlands.
The girl presented her thesis ‘Natural-Reserved Fund of Volyn Region: Chorologic and Chronological Aspects’.
Anastasia Vorobei is the winner of several intellectual and creative competitions of different levels.
In total 198 participants from Ukraine took part in the competition.

World’s largest cruise tourism association to hold its forum in Odesa
June 22-25, the 48th MedCruise Association of Mediterranean Cruise Ports General Assembly will take place in Odesa.
The forum was applied by more than 70 tour operators, including the world famous Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, Holland America Group, MSC Crociere, Azamara Cruises, Costa Crociere, Pullmantur Cruises, SilverSea.
The General Assembly will offer panel discussions, B2B negotiations (cruise ports and cruise operators), seminars etc.
