Ukraine to debut at US Summer Fancy Food Show
Ukrainian food producers will debut at the largest US food exhibition, Summer Fancy Food Show, to be held on June,26-28 in New York.
Summer Fancy Food Show – the largest US food products and beverages exhibition. This year organizers expect more than 180,000 products, 25,000 customers and 2,550 participants.

6 designers to present their collections at ‘Miss Ukrainian Canada’
Oksana Polonets, Foberini, Chernikova, Kozzachka, Ina Tsaryk and Anna Marchuk will present their collections at ‘Miss Ukrainian Canada 2016’ to be held on July 16, 2016 in Mississauga Living Arts Centre, Toronto.
The purpose of the show is to demonstrate the modern Ukrainian product and introduce well-known and young Ukrainian brands to the Canadians.
The show guests will see new women’s and men’s clothes collections made by the designers. The collections will be demonstrated by ‘Miss Ukrainian Canada’ finalists and other models.

Ukraine wins gold and silver medals at International Crossminton tournament
Mykhailo Mandryk and Olena Zatvarska from Zakarpattia Oblast participated at the ICO Crossminton Hungarian Open 2016 crossminton tournament (fast badminton) held in Budapest on June,4-5.
Mykhailo defeated athletes from Sweden in the half-final and final and won gold.
In mix doubles category Mykhailo Mandryk and Olena Zatvarska secured a silver medal.
In total 130 athletes from 18 countries took part in the tournament.

‘Cultural space of Donetsk Region’ exhibition invites
June, 8-28, The Center of Ukrainian Culture and Art (19-B, Khoryva Str.) hosts the exhibition ‘Cultural Space of Donetsk Region’, retrospective of Liudmyla Ohnieva works.
The exhibition embraces the works of different periods. Some works are related to the Ukrainians playing significant role in Ukrainian history; embroideries of political prisoners, orthodox symbols, flags and ribbons from Maidan in Donetsk. The exhibition also presents a piece of exposition ‘Memory and Life’ brought from a destroyed museum (Donetsk).
The exhibition works from Monday to Friday (10:00-19:00) and on Saturday (10:00-18:00).

6 million Hungarian forints and Jaguar car went to Ester Holozhai
12-yers-old Esther Holozhai (Orosieva village, Zakarpattia oblast) became a prizewinner of the Hungarian talent show ‘Virtuosos’.
‘Virtuosas’ is a popular Hungarian TV show missioned to discover young stars, classic music artists, and promote classic music. The competition involves three age groups (6-12, 13-17, 18-23).
In the first half final Esther played Grotesque by Jozef Karoi accompanied by the National Philharmonics of Hungary. At the final stage of the show she chose ‘A Masked Ball’ by Giuseppe Verdi and a theme from ‘Harry Potter’ movie.
The girl won 6 million forints and a possibility to perform on the stage of Cadogan Hall (London). The Hungarian Dealer Auto Palace Ltd also promised to present a real Jaguar for Esther’s birthday (June,11).
