Fiona Frazer was appointed as head of the United Nations Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine in September 2015, having worked as the deputy of the mission from April 2014. Prior to this, Frazer was with the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights as the deputy head of the Europe & Central Asia section in Geneva (2012-2014) and the deputy regional representative for Central Asia based in Kyrgyzstan (2008-2012). Before joining the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, she worked as a senior human rights officer with the Organisation for Security & Cooperation in Europe in Belarus and Bosnia & Herzegovina.
