Kataryna Wolczuk is an Associate Fellow at Chatham House’s Russia and Eurasia Program. Wolczuk is professor of East European Politics at the Centre for Russian, European and Eurasian Studies (CREES), University of Birmingham. She holds an MA in Law from the University of Gdansk, Poland, an MSocSc and a PhD from University of Birmingham. She has been a director and deputy director of CREES and has had academic positions at University of Florence (Italy), Uppsala University (Sweden) and University of Lucerne (Switzerland). She has extensive experience of working with international organizations, think-tanks, governments and international media and has travelled extensively to the post-Soviet countries.
