Miceál O’Hurley

Miceál O’Hurley is an Irish journalist and analyst who has covered Ukraine extensively. Over the years he has covered international conflicts for television including CNN, CTV, NBC, TRT as well as numerous print organizations. He is the Editor-in-Chief of Diplomacy in Ireland – European Diplomat having covered six wars in forty years. He is a decorated combat veteran, decorated for ‘exceptional heroism’ and formerly served as Counsel in the United States Congress. In 2022, Miceál was embedded with a military unit reporting from the front lines in Ukraine. Miceál currently leads a charitable organisation that provides ongoing support to humanitarian causes and the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
