Ukrainian economist and politician. Currently, Chief Policy Officer at Kyiv School of Economics.
In the past Pavlo served as the Acting Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine (in 2020) and First Deputy Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine (in 2019-2020).
In 2016-2019, Pavlo served as the Deputy Chairman of the Strategic Advisory Group for Support of Ukrainian reforms, working side by side with two famous Eastern European reformers Ivan Miklos and Leszek Balcerowicz. Simultaneously, Pavlo worked in the position of Advisor to the Prime Minister of Ukraine on economic reforms.
Pavlo has years of experience in shaping Ukraine’s economic policy at the highest level, consistently advocating market-based reforms and integration with the EU as strategic goals for the country.
His areas of professional expertise include state governance, macroeconomics, public finance, energy policy, corporate governance in state-owned companies and privatization.
