Philip Bednarczyk is a nonresident fellow with CEPA’s Democratic Resilience program.
Philip Bednarczyk was most recently a Robert Bosch Foundation Fellow based in Germany since 2018, where he split his work between Dresden, Passau, and the Bundestag. Philip is formerly the Democratic Staff Director for the House Subcommittee on Europe, Eurasia, and Emerging Threats for then Ranking Member Gregory Meeks.
Philip joined the subcommittee after four years working at the European Union, first at the European Parliament for then-President Jerzy Buzek, then for an Italian Member of the European People’s Party, and the European Commission.
Philip studied international economics at Fordham University and received his M.A. from Johns Hopkins SAIS in Russia and Eurasia studies. Philip is from New Haven, CT. He has also worked in Estonia and Russia and speaks Polish, Italian, German, French, and Russian.
