Sasha Borovik is a Munich-based attorney and technology entrepreneur. He is a graduate from Harvard Law School, where he also was a submissions editor at Harvard International Law Journal. After 25 years of living abroad, in February 2015 Borovik returned to Ukraine, to initially take the position of first deputy minister of economy. Later that year he became the deputy governor of Odesa Oblast. Prior to entering public service in Ukraine, Borovik was general counsel at Akamai Technology EMEA in London, and the head lawyer for Microsoft Worldwide Public Sector in Seattle – leading the company’s negotiations with national governments, the United Nations, NATO, and the European Commission.
