Aequo is pleased to announce promotion of senior associates Myroslava Savchuk and Yevgen Levitskyi to Counsels, Dispute Resolution Practice.
Myroslava has over 10 years’ of hands-on experience in international arbitration and litigation with particular focus on commercial, corporate and tax disputes, as well as in enforcing foreign judgments and arbitral awards. Myroslava regularly acts for the firm’s clients on various aspects of taxation, competition, investment as well as sector-specific regulation in Ukraine, focusing on a range of the firm’s key industries, including energy and natural resources, infrastructure and transportation, food and agribusiness. She received her LL.M. from University of Pittsburgh School of Law, USA.
Yevgen has spent more than 9 years as a litigator representing both domestic and foreign companies in courts and advising on various aspects of civil and property law, commercial and corporate law, banking law, international private law and international arbitration. He has significant experience in debt collection in favour of financial institutions, including bank loan, mortgage and suretyship enforcement. Yevgen specializes in civil and commercial litigation, bankruptcy proceedings, having also acted in enforcement of judgments and arbitral awards, with a particular focus on disputes in infrastructure and transportation, financial services, FMCG and retail. His practice covers criminal proceedings related to commercial and civil matters. He received his LL.M. from Vadym Hetman Kyiv National Economic University.
In their new role Myroslava Savchuk and Yevgen Levitskyi will be responsible for further strengthening Dispute Resolution practice and significant business development.
