Anton Polikarpov joins AVELLUM from Roshen as a counsel and the head of IP and IT practices.

During his 12-year practice, Anton has experienced legal work at law firms and major Ukrainian FMCG companies (e.g. as an in-house legal practitioner at Global Spirits (Khortytsia TM) and Confectionery Corporation “Roshen”), where he participated in the most sophisticated Ukrainian IP disputes up to date, related to the protection of “Kyiv Cake”, “Zolotyi Kliuchyk”, as well as other trademarks.

Anton has developed a network of patent attorneys in different countries, which enables him to advise clients on launching Ukrainian products abroad and ensure their protection with various IP instruments. He also represents clients in the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine in matters related to the protection of original goods’ packaging.

Anton Polikarpov is recognised as the Best in-house IP Counsel in 2018 by Yurydychna Praktyka. He is also listed among Top 300 Trademark Counsels, by World Trademark Review 300 in 2017 and 2018.

Anton has obtained his Master of Law degree from the Kyiv National Economic University in 2006, and Master of IP Law degree from the Intellectual Property Institute of the National University “Odesa Law Academy” in 2012.
