AVELLUM is happy to announce that Viktoriia Morozova has joined the firm’s Energy and Infrastructure practice as an of counsel.
Viktoriia specialises in the energy sector, more specifically, in the field of electricity market reforms and regulation. She boosts AVELLUM’s expertise in advising on energy licensing and establishment of tariffs for electricity generated from alternative energy sources.
Prior to joining AVELLUM, Viktoriia held the position of the Head of Legal Department at the National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission (NEURC), and in 2015, she has been appointed as a member of the NEURC. Viktoria was also involved in technical assistance of projects with the European Union related to energy market reforms.
Viktoriia’s extensive experience covers energy market regulation, implementation of adopted legislative acts in energy sector, and regulation of cooperation between energy suppliers and consumers. Based on her over 10 years’ experience in the sector, Viktoria was at the forefront of the recent energy reforms and possesses an in-depth knowledge of how energy market has been evolving from the regulator’s perspective.
