CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang Ukraine is delighted to announce the promotions of Vitalii Mainarovych, Mariana Saienko and Viktoriia Stavchuk to the positions of senior associates.
Viktoriia Stavchuk becomes a senior associate in the Tax practice. Viktoriia has over seven years’ experience advising large Ukrainian and international companies on various tax and legal issues related to their businesses in Ukraine. Her expertise includes domestic and international tax issues, direct and indirect tax planning, structuring domestic and cross-border business operations, tax due diligences, reviewing and structuring contractual arrangements, and customs and currency control compliance. Viktoriia advises clients in various industries, including IT, oil & gas, renewables, infrastructure and financial services. In addition to her degree in law, Viktoriia holds a Master of Business Administration degree, which allows her to combine her extensive legal expertise with business insights, offering practical and pragmatic solutions to each client’s business needs.
Vitalii Mainarovych becomes a senior associate in the Corporate/M&A practice. In his new role he will continue advising foreign and local clients on complex JVs, corporate restructurings and English law-governed cross-border M&A deals in Ukraine and beyond; his previous experience includes deals in the UK, Georgia, Kazakhstan, France, Tunisia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Italy, Azerbaijan and Poland. He is also a member of the wider CMS International Private Equity team, having been on secondment in our London office. Vitalii focuses on infrastructure, energy and private equity. He holds master’s degrees in law from Oxford University and the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
Mariana Saienko becomes a senior associate in the Corporate/M&A practice. As a member of the transactions team and the wider CMS International Private Equity team, Mariana has extensive experience advising local and international clients on M&A, private equity, equity capital market deals, commercial and corporate law matters. Most recently, Mariana has focused on high-profile projects in infrastructure, energy, private equity and IT, advising clients on transactional, general corporate law matters, joint ventures, restructurings, corporate finance and other matters.
