Sayenko Kharenko is strengthening its award-winning technology, telecom and cybersecurity group with the hire of Daryna Sydorenko as a group coordinator. As a former in-house lawyer at a Swiss RnD, soft- and hardware engineering company, Daryna brings the firm significant first-hand experience in the technology sector and understanding of the clients’ needs at the time of great changes and transformations in the sector.

Daryna Sydorenko joins Sayenko Kharenko at a period of immense growth for the firm’s technology, telecom and cybersecurity team, a result of the technology boost, new cyber threats, increase in data regulation, and the firm’s leading reputation in these fields.

Daryna has a very wide skill set across intellectual property, technology and data protection, and significant experience of advising Ukrainian and foreign IT companies on GDPR, compliance, cloud service launching projects, effective fighting against patent trolls and grey importers. She also has unique experience in providing legal support of Ukrainian, Russian, Swiss and German offices of a foreign company operating in Ukraine.

Daryna Sydorenko studied law at Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman and National University of “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy”. Daryna also earned Master degree in Intellectual Property with honours from Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University.
