Mayors from Canada and Poland will exchange experience with Ukrainian colleagues
A new annual International Mayors Congress for mayors, local government leaders, and other local development stakeholders will be held in Kyiv on December 5, 2016.
Ukrainian and International mayors, local government leaders, representatives of Ukrainian authorities and international experts will present global trends in city development and share the best local practices.
International Mayors will visit the Congress:
- Berry Vrbanovic, Mayor of Kitchener, Canada
- Chris Goertzen, Mayor of Steinbach, President of the Association of Manitoba Municipalities, Canada
- Hanna Zdanowska, Mayor of Lodz, Poland
Program includes panel discussions, exhibition “Opportunities for local development” from international and Ukrainian organizations and networking events. Detailed program is on the website.

International Mayors Congress was launched as a joint initiative of the Agency for Strategic Communications and Development “Joint Efforts” and Western NIS Enterprise Fund.
