A total of 978 kilometers of pipe for the Nord Stream 2 pipeline, or 40 percent of the project, has been laid along the bottom of the Baltic Sea, according to Gazprom.

During the International Arctic Forum in St. Petersburg on April 9, head of PJSC Gazprom Alexei Miller held a working meeting with French Ambassador to Russia Sylvie Bermann.

France is one of Gazprom’s key markets in Europe. Over the past five years, exports to that country have risen 58 percent, reaching 12.9 billion cubic meters in 2018.
