Boryspil International Airport (Kyiv) in January-April serviced 1.751 million passengers, which is 28% less compared to the same period in 2020 (2.442 million passengers).

At the same time, according to the airport on May 11, in April it serviced 544,866 passengers, which is almost 100 times more than in April 2020 (the beginning of the lockdown), of which 274,812 passengers on regular flights and 270,054 on non-scheduled flights.

In the first four months of 2021, the Boryspil airport serviced 907,816 passengers on regular flights (a decrease of 51%) and 843,461 passengers on non-scheduled flights (an increase of 45%).

The number of transfer passengers decreased 84.9%, to 58,746 people (for the same period last year, this figure was 388,984 passengers).

The share of transfers of the total passenger traffic decreased from 15.9% to 3.4%.
