Under a complaint of Ihor Kolomoisky, ex-shareholder of the now state-owned PrivatBank, the Kyiv Court of Appeals has ruled that the Solomiansky District Court is to continue hearing the merits of the case regarding the lawfulness of PrivatBank’s contracts with its advisors, including Kroll, Alixpartners, Hogan Lovells and Asters.

“The Kyiv Court of Appeals in the case [under the claim of] Kolomoisky regarding invalidation of contracts with advisors of PrivatBank canceled the decision to leave the claim without consideration [dated June 9 this year] and sent the case to the Solomiansky District Court to continue hearing the case on the merits,” the bank’s press service said on Nov. 24.

According to the court’s ruling placed in the unified public register of court decisions, the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU), the Ministry of Finance, and the bank’s consulting companies are also defendants in the case.
