Dniprospetsstal Electrometallurgical Plant (Zaporizhia) in January-September saw a net loss of Hr 15.219 million, while in the same period last year it amounted to Hr 887.337 million (a decrease of 58.3 times or more than 98%).

According to the interim financial statements of the enterprise, the outstanding loss by the end of September this year amounted to Hr 2.680 billion.

The plant for the nine months of 2021 increased its net income by 40.2%, up to Hr 7.241 billion. The distribution of net income by geography of sales for this period was as follows: sales in Ukraine amounted to Hr 2.282 billion, products were exported for Hr 4,960 billion.

As reported, Dniprospetsstal in 2020 saw a net loss of Hr 887.843 million, while in 2019 it received a net profit of Hr 78.131 million. The outstanding loss by the end of last year was Hr 2.857 billion.

Dniprospetsstal is the only Ukrainian manufacturer of long products and forgings from special grades of steel: stainless, tool, high-speed, bearing, structural, as well as from heat-resistant nickel-based alloys.

According to National Depository data for the second quarter of 2021, its shares are owned by Wenox Holdings Ltd. – 47.1128%, Boundryco Ltd – 11.0131%, Gazaro Ltd – 16.5197%, Crascoda Holdings – 6.6826% and Middleprime Limited – 9.7901% (all based in Cyprus).
