The European Business Association insists on extending feed-in tariffs for renewable energy sources by two years, as well as fixing the terms of repayment of the current debt of Guaranteed Buyer state enterprise to renewable energy producers.

According to the EBA report available to Interfax-Ukraine, such positions must be provided for in government bill No. 3658, registered in the Verkhovna Rada, on changing conditions for supporting renewable energy producers.

At the same time, the association calls on the Rada committee on energy and housing and utilities to support the bill, which, in its opinion, will allow timely payments for “green” energy by the state and increase its share.

As reported, the Verkhovna Rada registered bills No. 3658 (government) and No. 3658-1 (authorship of MP Andriy Gerus, the Servant of the People faction), providing for the reduction of feed-in tariffs without extending their validity, introducing liability for unbalances, resolving the issue of “green” auctions.
