You're reading: EU mission on ‘industrial visa-free regime’ starts work in Ukraine

The preliminary assessment mission of the EU on the ACAA Agreement (conformity assessment and acceptance of industrial products) has begun work in Ukraine, the Ministry for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture has reported.

“On Oct. 29, during an online meeting of Trade Representative Taras Kachka with members of the EU Delegation to Ukraine, the Directorate General of the European Commission for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs, agreements were reached on the start of work of the EU preliminary assessment mission on the readiness of the quality infrastructure for the signing the ACAA agreement [industrial visa free regime],” the ministry said in a release.

According to the ministry, the parties noted progress in the dialogue regarding the conclusion of the agreement and agreed to intensify joint work.
