In 2017, the current downward trend of flour production in Ukraine, which started dominating in several recent years, continued developing.
For 12 months of 2017, Ukraine produced nearly 1.937 mln tonnes of wheat flour, a decrease of 11.4 thsd tonnes compared with 2016, when the production totaled 1.949 mln tonnes, down 230.4 thsd tonnes compared with 2015 (2.168 mln tonnes), reported the Director of production operations department at Agrarian Fund PJSC, Sergei Sakirkin, according to APK-Inform.
