The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved a bill amending the Tax Code regarding the introduction of the tax on moved capital. Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman ordered additionally work on the stages of the tax introduction to avoid losses of the national budget.
“We support this. We are the authors of the bill. We want to introduce it. The question is when and how? We are looking for the right way and terms how to do this,” the prime minister said at a government meeting in Kyiv on Oct. 4.
“We want clear calculations not to disturb the macroeconomic stability,” Groysman said, adding that the possible losses of the national budget are estimated at up to Hr 40 billion.
First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Stepan Kubiv said that the government will send the bill to the National Reforms Council headed by Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko.
