Industrial prices in Ukraine in March increased by 1.8%, while in February the growth was 0.1%, in January – 2.5%, the State Statistics Service has reported.
In annual terms (compared to the same month last year), in March 2020, industrial prices fell by 4.2%, while in February by 68.8%, and in January 2020 by 5.9%.
The service said that in Ukraine the prices of industrial producers in March grew by 1.5% compared to February, while during deliveries outside the country they increased 2.9%.
According to the report, in Q1 2020 year-over-year, industrial prices fell by 5.6%, and since early 2020 (March 2020 compared with December 2019) they grew by 4.4%.
Prices in mining and quarrying in March of this year compared with the previous month fell by 4.5%, in particular, in extraction of crude oil and natural gas by 12.2%, in metallic ore production by 1.2% and coal production by 0.9%.
In March 2020, prices in the supply of electricity, gas and air conditioning grew by 5.9%, in metallurgy the prices rose by 1.9%, wood processing by 1.7%, rubber and plastic products output by 1.3%, textile production by 1.2%, processing industry by 1.2%, engineering by 0.7%, pharmaceutical production by 0.5%. At the same time, in the production of coke, the price reduction was 1.4%.
