The Kyiv District Administrative Court will set the date for the next court hearing in the case on the return to PrivatBank of Hr 540 million paid to the Surkis family after the completion of consideration by the Kyiv Pechersky District Court of a civil case on the claim of the Surkis family on recognizing bail-in agreements as invalid.
“Judge Yevhen Ablov told the participants in the case that the date of the court hearing to consider the issue of execution of court decisions in administrative case No. 826/20221/16 will be set after the completion of consideration by the Pechersky District Court of Kyiv of the civil case at the suit of the Surkis family,” the press service of PrivatBank reported.
PrivatBank noted that the specified court demand is not provided for by procedural legislation.
The press service recalled that the consideration by the Kyiv Pechersky District Court of the civil case on the claim of the Surkis family on the recognition of bail-in agreements as invalid was stopped at the stage of preparatory proceedings to involve the legal successors of Surkis Rakhmil Davydovich in the case.
As reported, on June 1, the Grand Chamber of the Supreme Court overturned the decision of the Kyiv District Administrative Court and the Kyiv Administrative Court of Appeals and closed the proceedings on the cancellation of the NBU decisions on recognizing the members of the Surkis family as those related to PrivatBank and recovering Hr 1.05 billion, $266,200 and 7,800 euros from PrivatBank in favor of the Surkis family.
