You're reading: Kyiv Post Employment Fair on April 14 brings together experts to help job seekers

This year the Kyiv Post Employment Fair stepped into its 17th year of helping to unite those looking for jobs with those who have vacancies to fill.

Traditionally the Kyiv Post team brings career seekers together with top Ukrainian and international employers twice a year – in spring and fall. This tradition keeps going but the format of the fair has changed and, like many other events, went online because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

2020 was tough for employers and job seekers, with companies laying off people because of the economic recession.

For those in the job market, the Kyiv Post team on April 14 will bring together top experts to share their tips and insights on how to prepare a professional CV and how to behave during job interviews.

So what is our plan for this day?

The morning will start with a Career Talk by Olena Sabry, a job search coach and founder of Career Academy in the U.S. Olena has already helped dozens of people to prepare for important job interviews and will share with our viewers how to feel comfortable during online interviews and share her tips on finding job opportunities on LinkedIn. The talk will be moderated by Karine Makiian, PR manager at Work.ua, a popular job portal in Ukraine.

The livestream starts at 10:15 a.m. on the Kyiv Post Employment Fair page on Facebook.

Right after this talk we will have an online discussion on how to create the perfect CV at 11 a.m. The livestream will be available on our YouTube channel as well.

Iryna Fedotiuk, HR manager at ProCredit Bank and Vladyslav Kotelnytskiy, expert key account manager at Robota.ua will share their experience and will provide key moments that a job seeker should keep in mind while creating a CV.

Volia, Ukrainian telecommunication service provider, and Mars, FMCG company will join our career fair as well. In a video shot especially for our Employment Fair Nina Karamazina, HR Director of Volia  will tell about the work inside the company and how they motivate their team.

Also job seekers will have the opportunity to find out more about working at Mars Ukraine. The company will share the info about the vacancies on our employment pages on social media – Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
