You're reading: Kyiv Post Employment Fair will attract 35 companies

Nearly three dozen leading companies in Ukraine will participate in the Kyiv Post Employment Fair on Sept. 16 as they look to hire the best and brightest among job seekers.

Attendees will also be able to speak with experts for career advice, gain tips on how to write a CV and engaging cover letter and nail job interviews — important steps to building a successful and worthwhile career.

The fair is a biannual recruiting event with a 12-year track record in career matchmaking. It will take place at Olympic Stadium at 55 Velyka Vasylkivska St. The event will run from 10 a. m. to 4 p. m. Entry costs Hr 25.

This autumn’s fair features 35 companies. Ten companies are new to the ranks: Runway, Tickets UA, MGID, iCredit, Bauchemie, Evo.company, KT Ukraine, Binotel, 3 Shape, and Reckitt Benckiser.

The fair provides a valuable opportunity for prospective employees and employers to meet.

Anasatsia Koshalko, head of HR EVO.company, an e-commerce company, emphasizes the fair’s ability to connect employers and job seekers in a unique way. “This career fair gives us the chance to be transparent, to step outside the limits of e-mail, and speak casually with prospective colleagues,” Koshalko said.

Ivanna Dudar, head of HR at Tickets UA, believes the fair matches high quality people with high quality employers, with Kyiv Post as the intermediary. “I know those who read the Kyiv Post will enjoy working for us,” Dudar said.

Apart from talking to representatives of top companies, participants can attend lectures by outstanding speakers.

Maksym Bakhmatov, head of UNIT.City — a project that aims to combine innovation, education, business, and urban development — will speak about his work and how young people can take advantage of the present job market.

“Young people must find experience through real work, not virtual,” the UNIT.City managing partner advises.

Another speaker is Andriy Fedoriv, a leading name in marketing in Ukraine. In addition to his own company, FEDORIV, the N.1 Ukrainian branding agency, Fedoriv is also the chairman of the All-Ukrainian Advertising Coalition. Fedoriv will discuss his own biography, his company, the situation in marketing and future trends.

In addition to business seminars, Eterna Law, a top law firm, will give a seminar for prospective lawyers.
