Mobile operator Kyivstar connected 24 remote settlements to the 4G network in Chernivtsi region.

As the press service informed on Monday, broadband mobile Internet, in particular, became available in Hlybokа, Starozhynets, Kelmenets, Kitsman, Novoselytskа, and other districts of the region.

According to the operator, among such settlements are Mykhailivka, Stavchany, and Stroyintsi, where the agricultural production develops, Oselivka, Chornivka and the district center of Kitsman, where the ecotourism develops, as well as other villages and towns. There are 27,000 people living in these settlements.

Kyivstar notes that since early 2020, the operator has connected to broadband mobile Internet via LTE technology almost 5,000 settlements. Within two years, access to broadband mobile Internet Kyivstar appeared in 12,000 settlements.

The company plans to provide access to 4G for 90% of the population of Ukraine within two years.
