You're reading: Kyivstar turns on unlimited 4G Internet for all subscribers until late July

The Kyivstar mobile communications operator until July 31, 2019 has made mobile 4G Internet unlimited for its subscribers, while the tariffs for data transfer in 2G and 3G networks will be in line with the tariff packages of subscribers, the company has said on its website.

According to the report, unlimited 4G is in effect both for current and new subscribers of Kyivstar. It requires no additional configuration or services.

In order to have unlimited access to the network using 4G communication technology, Kyivstar subscribers need to use a 4G smartphone and have a USIM card with 4G support; to be within the coverage of the operator’s 4G network and to pay for a package of services according to the terms of their tariff package.

Unlimited 4G Internet from Kyivstar until the end of July can be used by residents of 6,109 settlements, where the operator’s 4G network operates and approximately 27.7 million people live (66.7 percent of Ukraine’s population), Kyivstar reported.

As reported, Kyivstar intends to soon turn on 4G Internet in the Kharkiv subway.

Kyivstar is the largest Ukrainian mobile operator. It provides communication and data services based on a wide range of mobile and fixed technologies, including 4G. As of the end of 2018, 26.4 million mobile subscribers and about 0.9 million fixed Internet clients used its services.
