Mykolaiv seaport in January-June reduced cargo handling by 16.9% compared to the same period in 2020, to 11.927 million tonnes.

According to the data on the website of the state-owned enterprise Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (USPA), during the specified period, the port reduced handling of export cargo by 25.5% compared to January-June last year, to 8.175 million tonnes, increased handling of imported cargo by 12.4%, to 3.171 million tonnes, transit cargo by 8.1%, to 113,980 tonnes, and coastal cargo by 2.5%, to 467,560 tonnes.

Handling of bulk cargo over the six months of 2021 decreased by 8.7%, to 1.659 million tonnes, dry bulk cargo by 19.7%, to 8.638 million tonnes, and packaged cargo by 8.4%, to 1.631 million tonnes.
