You're reading: Roshen launches biscuit complex in Boryspil

The Roshen confectionary corporation has launched two cracker and biscuit lines at the biscuit complex in Boryspil (Kyiv region).

“The factory’s products have been on sale for several months now. More than 100 people are currently working at the Roshen biscuit complex, and in two years it is planned to expand to 500 jobs. The total number of employees should reach 1,100,” the press service of the corporation said.

It is planned that by 2020 the factory will work at a full capacity. The total capacity of the new factory will be 20,000 tonnes.

“The first line produces crackers. The cracker production line is capable of producing about a tonne of cookies per hour. The Hi Day cracker trademark is manufactured at the Boryspil factory. The cracker’s complete production cycle lasts a day. The second line produces new types of Esmeralda cookies – Esmeralda Soft Heart Choco and Esmeralda Soft Heart Milk. Karolina butter cookies are also produced at the biscuit complex,” Roshen said.

The corporation said that the products of the Boryspil factory will be exported to all countries where Roshen is represented.
