The Russian Federation has reduced shipments of oil products by 30-50% after limitations on such shipments became effective on June 1, 2019, presidential representative in the government Andriy Gerus said on Facebook.

There is currently a surplus of oil products on the Ukrainian market, allowing Ukraine to find alternative sources of supply, he said.

“The main task is to have diversified sources of supplies of petroleum products before the harvest begins, when demand for fuel will increase,” Gerus said.
