You're reading: Some 335 Ukrainians declare income over Hr 1 million in January

Ukrainians in January 2019 submitted over 22,000 declarations of assets and income for 2018, and 335 taxpayers declared income over Hr 1 million, the State Fiscal Service reported on its website on Feb. 11.

“According to the tax declarations, the total income in the amount of Hr 3.6 billion was declared. Citizens independently determined to pay Hr 76.7 million of personal income tax, which is Hr 26.5 million (or 50 percent) more than in January 2018,” the authority said while adding that the total number of declarations is 13 percent more compared to the same period of 2018.

The sum of the military levy on the basis of the declaration in January increased by 31 percent, to Hr 13.1 million, the authority said.

“The largest amount of income in January 2019 declared a resident of Kyiv – more than Hr 200 million. The largest amount of payments to the budget of income from sources abroad has now been declared by two citizens of Sumy region (each in the amount of more than Hr 2.5 million),” the authority said.
